15 Guys, 6 Groups, from Missouri to Idaho, from Pastor to politician – this camp was diverse!  By Wednesday though, you couldn’t tell who came with who.  We as staff were blessed, encouraged and humbled by these guys and the way the Lord worked throughout the week.  The group included four people in full time ministry and they were able to relax and truly get away.

Salmon totals for the week were 280 coho.  Two successful halibut trips were taken.  The first trip kept getting oversized halibut that had to be turned back.  Released halibut included halibut that weighed 128#, 120#, 97#, and 56#.  Four nice keeper halibut were brought home and multiple smaller halibut released.  On the second trip everyone limited and multiple halibut were released.

There is one opening in each of two camps this summer (2013):

Arrive June 30 – Depart July 6 (1 open spot only)
Arrive July 14 – Depart July 20 (1 open spot only)

I’m sorry guys!!! I’ve been so busy up here I haven’t had time to do anything with the blog!

Over the next couple days I’ll get you all caught up to date… our internet has been spotty out here at the camp, so I can’t upload pictures right away, but I promise I will soon.

As of right now, we’re just starting Camp number 4, and the silvers are in nice and thick! Nearly all of these campers are newcomers, but almost all of them came up for breakfast with at least one fish this morning! (Snagging at low tide does wonders!) Nonetheless, several guys were able to get quite a lot of fish today on Flying C lures.

Halibut fishing has been awesome, especially last week. I’ll tell you more about that soon.

Again, I’m so sorry it’s taken so long to post up… just been way too busy this summer.
Stay tuned. I’ll get ya all caught up. 🙂
