Bad News is Alaska Airlines is allowing 1 checked bag free. They are going to start charging $25 for the 2nd bag & $100 for the 3rd bag.

Good News is if you have purchased your ticket prior to May 1 you can still have 2 checked bags for free.

Oodles of Noodles &  Eggsessive Eggs! The annual pre-cooking night is complete. We filled 14 deep trays of lasagna, made kettles of spaghetti sauce, browned 40 lbs of breakfast sausage, and cracked hundreds & hundreds of eggs. A special thanks to our good friend Andrea who faithfully helps us year after year.

Assembly Line

We extend a special thanks to all those who worked so hard in getting the supplies and loading them up for shipping to Alaska. We drove over & loaded 7880 lbs of supplies into a container in Seattle to be put on a barge for Thorne Bay. If all goes well the supplies will be waiting for us when we arrive. Included in the shipment was the re-built outdrive & motor for the Bayliner (thank you Ed Shoemaker), materials for the new restroom (thank you Joe Schacher), general supplies much of which was rounded up from the Nampa Church Group (thank you Davis Peterson and Daren Clark), and of course the all important – food (thank you Tracy Gunkel & family).  Thank you also Chuck Rogers for supplying the trailer.
