This week seemed to fly past. I can’t believe it’s already over. We say goodbye to Joel, Bill, Mike B, Wes, Mike H, Eric, Jim & Debbie. Howard III, Howard Jr, and Don will stay on for one more week.

The first camp (Less Mike & Wess who were down fishing)

During Prayer the last night.

Some clamming action at El Capitan

Katherine & Don with their mornings catch.

Eric trying to figure out where to put more fish.

God has blessed us with a great week.  The fish count for the week was around 250 silvers, bringing the total up to about 350.  A special thanks to Pasor Bill and his thought provoking messages.

Joe, Joel, Wes, Jim, and Debbie went out with me on our second halibut trip of the season.  Although the tides are big and we have limited times to fish the slack water at the tide changes we were able to catch 7 decent halibut & 3 rockfish.  Joe Schacher caught the largest fish of the trip & the season (so far) with a very nice 141 pound halibut.

Joe with his 141 pound halibut.

Thank the Lord the boat is still running great!

Bill Kramer left this morning. He has been a tremendous help, volunteering his time in installing the engine & outdrive on the bayliner. He has also made numerous donations & opened the use of his shop to us during the off season. Thanks Bill for all your help!

The day before he left I had the privilege of spending the day with him fishing.

Bil & I (Mark Gunkel) with our limits of silver salmon we caught in the morning. That afternoon we were able to get our limit of halibut on the boat Bill worked so hard on to get running.

Thanks again Bill. Many people will enjoy the fruits of your labor.
