While on the annual shopping trip at Winco, Tracy was in the bulk section filling her 182,232nd bag of dry goods and was approached by a young woman needing the bin that Tracy was unmercifully emptying.   She asked, “What in the world are you going to do with all of that?”

Tracy, tired of shopping and a little hurried, mentioned that its for a fish camp in Alaska.

The young woman showed interest and as they talked it became apparent to each of them that they were both Christians.  As they were preparing to go their separate ways the woman asked Tracy what her name was and earnestly told Tracy that she would be praying for her this summer.  It was very encouraging & uplifting for Tracy at a time when she really needed it.  Praise God!

God continues to provide.  Howard Hooper donated (72) 2# Balls &  (30) 3# Balls for halibut fishing.  He also donated a melting pot, extra lead, wire leaders and some spinners.   Thank You Howard!

Mike Hoffer has given us several boxes of weights.  It seems like every time I see him he has me come out to his car & he gives me some more weights.  I guess they are getting tired of tying tire weights & rocks on their lines to go halibut fishing.

Get your arms & backs ready for some serious halibut fishing cause we are ready now!

Thanks to Merle Brusven and his generous donation we all can enjoy a platform scale and banding machine with nylon banding to help handle the fish box packing party at the end of each camp.
Merle donated his platform scale and it’s a dandy. We can now just put the weights on 50 lbs and load the box up till she balances. No more trying to balance boxes on a bathroom scale. We also don’t have to worry about the tape not sticking to the cold boxes. Merle purchased and donated a hand bander with 3000′ of nylon banding.
Thank You Merle!
