The power went out Thursday evening & didn’t come back on till about noon on Friday.  That made breakfast interesting.  We did hot cereal outside on the crab cooker.

We could not be denied our coffee!  Tracy is tending the pots out on the driveway by the generator.

These guys like to get up early and many of them are members of the six fish before six am club.  The latest member to make is was Jerry this morning catching 6 silvers before breakfast on a chartreuse Neon Magic Spinner.  The silvers are really smacking spinners and are jumping everywhere.

Wednesdays halibut was great with limits for everyone and the two biggest fish being 68 & 58 pounds.

Tuesday’s halibut trip was a blast….

especially with the 185 pound, 6′ 1″ halibut they brought in! Congratulations to Luke Van Valin on his first, and largest, halibut! (Which, by the way, is #2 on the largest halibut of all time at 153 fish camp)

Not only that, but they also brought in quite a few other fish, including three that were pushing the 50 pound mark, as well as 4 cod. God is good to us, and hopefully He’ll be good to the other trip that went out today.
