The second official camp rolled in tonight, and most of the guys are already down fishing. It’s going to be a great week!
The guys from the first camp; Art, Greg, Rick, Cody, John, Merl, Tom, Paul, Bill, Dave, Dennis, and Josh all woke up exremely early Saturday morning, packed up their fish (thanks Merlin for the scale and bander!) and headed out for the 8:00 AM ferry. Jim and Debbie Dahl, our faithful helpers for the last two weeks, left this Sunday morning. Mike, our other helper, left last Thursday. All three were a great help, thanks guys!
I forgot to mention that we boated a total of 43 halibut for the week, not counting the ones we threw back or lost. It’s been a great week for halibut, and we’re hoping to have another just like last week.
