Well, the silvers have been tougher to get these last few days, but the guys have been loading up on pinks. The extremely low tides this week have made it easy to fish from shore, bringing some success by snagging. However, the majority of the catch have come from finesse-fishing at the “pink hole”, a hole in the local creek that is LOADED with pink salmon. A group of guys just pulled in with 27 pinks… almost a full limit for everybody on the trip.

The guys also went to Red Bay this morning, and caught a bunch of pinks, and a few sockeye. Probably the most interesting item of the day is that one of the guys caught a little king salmon out there! Luckily, he had a King stamp, which allowed him to keep it. I’ve never seen a king caught out there before… maybe he was lost?

(As you can see, the Sun is out again today!)

Some of the staff took a halibut trip today.. it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with. Read about it tomorrow!
